I'm speechless. Dylan Rupe (black metal/folk mastermind of Evergreen Refuge and Cuscuta) has crafted a masterpiece of drone and ambient. I'm a massive fan of drone and ambient music, utilizing it meditatively and also for creative purposes such as writing and painting. Void I, for me, harkens to 'Celestite' from Wolves in the Throne Room and I also hear plenty of atmosphere and tones that remind me greatly of some of Evergreen Refuge's more dark passages. Void I is dripping in dark atmosphere.
